Tax bills for Real Estate, Personal Property, and Motor Vehicles will be mailed to Tolland property owners at the end of June; you should have the bills around July 1, 2010.  Real Estate bills which are being paid by your bank will be sent directly to the bank; if you get a Real Estate bill and your bank should have gotten it, please send it to them immediately with a reminder that they are supposed to be paying it.  If you haven’t gotten a bill by the end of the first full week in July, please get in touch and we’ll check on it for you. The Town of Tolland would like to inform residents that the Tolland High School track is temporarily closed while the inside field is reconditioned.  During this time, residents are reminded of the track located at Tolland Middle School which may be used.  The expected finish date of this project is July 30th.  Once the work is completed, the track will be reopened, however, the field will remain closed to all traffic until the fall of 2011.  Questions may be directed to the Public Works Department at (860) 871-3690.

On Tuesday, August 10^th, Tolland will have a dual Primary, meaning that Registered Democrats and Registered Republican will be able to vote for party candidates.

Registered voters who are Unaffiliated Voters (not registered with ANY political party), have until August 5th to change party affiliation by mail and by noon on August 9^th to do so in person in the Registrar of Voters office, in order to vote in this Primary.
