The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) announced that Tolland has joined the Connecticut Clean Energy Communities Program by committing to a goal of purchasing at least 20% of its electricity for municipal facilities from clean, renewable energy sources.  In making this commitment, Tolland becomes the 100th municipality in the State to “go green.”  The Town Council approved a resolution declaring the Town’s commitment to a cleaner environment and greater energy independence.
