The referendum on the HVAC Replacement Project at the Hicks Memorial Municipal Center and Library passed. 

683 voted YES  — 480 voted NO
Total number voting 1,164 representing 11.90% of eligible voters.

The Tolland Senior Center located at 674 Tolland Stage Road is Tolland’s designated emergency shelter in case of severe weather such as a possible ice storm.  If the shelter is to open notification will be placed on the Town’s website as well as be sent to those who have signed up for the Town’s e-blast system or facebook.  At the shelter residents would be able to get water, food and use shower facilities.  Read the rest of this entry »
