In an effort to offset the cost of keeping the beach at Crandall Park open 7 days a week we will now be charging a fee to swim during the week as well as on weekends.

The daily fee is $2.00 per resident and $5.00 per non-resident to be collected at the gate.  Residents can apply to the Recreation Office for a family season pass.  The beach hours for open swim will be from 1pm till 6pm daily, weather permitting, late June through mid August.  Contact the Recreation Office at 871-3610 with questions.

As of January 1, 2011 certain covered electronic devices commonly referred to as “e-waste” or “electronic waste” are no longer being picked up and disposed of by Tolland’s residential refuse and recycling contractor Willimantic Waste.  Read the rest of this entry »
