Current Vacancies on Town Boards & Commissions - as of May 8, 2008:
Volunteers are sought for the following vacancies on Town boards and commissions. For additional information about any of these vacancies, please call the Town Manager’s Office at 871-3600.
Board of Building Appeals - (1) Member: to fulfill a term expiring 11-09-11. Appointments are made by the Town Council.
Conservation Commission - (2) Alternates: to fulfull terms expiring 06-30-08. Appointments are made by the Town Manager.
Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission - (1) Alternate Member to fulfill a term expiring 11-04-09 and (1) Regular Member to fulfill a term expiring 11-04-09. Appointments are made by the Town Council.
Non-Profit Housing Corporation - (1) Member: to fulfill a term expiring 7-2011. Appointments are made by the Town Council.
Permanent Celebration Committee - (4) Members: two to fulfill terms expiring 11-03-10; two to fulfill terms expiring 11-09-09. Appointments are made by the Town Council.
Tolland Public Library Foundation - (1) Director: to fulfill a term expiring 10-09. Appointments are made by the Town Council.
Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) - (1) Alternate Member: to fulfill a term expiring 08-26-09. Appointments are made by the Town Council. For additional details regarding WPCA vacancies, please click here.
