Tankerhoosen Watershed Management Plan
The Inland Wetlands & Watercourse Commission has been working closely with the Tolland landowners within the watershed to identify and prioritize drainage structures that are in need of improvement and to seek funding to support modifications.

The Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers on the sixth floor of the Hicks Memorial Municipal Center at 21 Tolland Green.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS
The principal functions of this Commission and staff are to enforce the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations; review site plans for areas of wetlands and watercourses, and study the impact of development on and off the site. The Commission may attach conditions to the Wetlands Permits that it issues to minimize development impacts on the regulated areas. The Commission consists of five regular and two alternate members who are appointed by the Town Council to serve two-year terms.
