The Veteran’s Recognition Commission meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room C on the fourth level of the Hicks Memorial Municipal Center at 21 Tolland Green.

CHARGE:  To recognize, honor and memorialize those citizens of Tolland who have or are serving in the military.

Tolland’s Veterans Recognition Commission seeks to honor all Tolland men and women who are serving or have served in the United States Military.

The Commission has established a list of current and former Tolland residents who are or have been in the Armed Forces.  Names are displayed in the Tolland Town Hall on the 2nd level across the hall from the Recreation Department.

The Tolland Veterans’ Recognition Commission is seeking to welcome and honor our returning veterans with a welcome home ceremony.  Family members and friends of those presently serving are encouraged to contact the commission.  The commission is currently seeking photos and news of those presently serving, to be posted on the memorial.  The Honor Roll Memorial is located on the second level of the Tolland Town Hall.
