The responsibility of the Finance Department is to ensure that public dollars are spent in accordance with the annual adopted budget and that services are provided in the most efficient way possible.

What’s New:
One of the tasks the Finance Department is currently at work on is the budget for fiscal year 2012/2013.  The audit for fiscal year 2010/2011 is done and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is available on-line.

Finance Departments Awards:
In addition to receiving its 17th “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting” award the Finance Department is proud to have received the “Distinguished Budget Presentation Award” for the 2012 fiscal year.  This is the third consecutive year for this honor.  This is primarily due to the exemplary work of Tolland’s Acting Finance Director Agata Herasimowicz and the entire Finance Department Staff.
