IMPORTANT NEWS – Tolland’s Polling Places Have Changed
We now have polling places at the Hicks Memorial Municipal Center (Town Hall) Gymnasium and the Tolland Senior Center.
WHY? The former high school auditorium lobby was too small; we could not run a Presidential Election in that location. This means:
- If you used to vote at the former high school, you now vote at the Hicks Memorial Municipal Center (Town Hall) Gymnasium (Voting District #1)
- If you used to vote at the Town Hall Gymnasium, you now vote at the Tolland Senior center (Voting District #2)
Why did the Town move people from the Town Hall to the Senior Center?
To ease the flow of traffic through the center of town on Election day. People voting at the Senior Center live north of Interstate 84 and those voting at the Town Hall Gymnasium, for the most part, live south of Interstate 84.
You may direct questions regarding voting to any of the following offices:
Registrars of Voters – (860) 871-3634
Town Clerk’s Office – (860) 871-3630
Town Manager’s Office – (860) 871-3600
