TOLLAND YOUTH SERVICES COMMUNITY THEATER (TYSCT)
Tolland Youth Services Community Theater (TYSCT) originated in 1997 and has expanded into a year-round program. In addition to our Summer Musical productions, we offer year-round Coffee House performances. Research supports that participation in the arts exposes youth to many of the assets critical to healthy development. TYSCT provides youth with skills and opportunities needed by young people by
- encouraging youth to explore the creative abilities within themselves
- promoting a sense of self-worth through community involvement, supporting positive, responsible relationships for youth with their peers and an intergenerational community of caring adults.
