Energy Assistance
Operation Fuel Utility Program – Operation Fuel is an emergency assistance program; it is not an entitlement program for all residents who may fall within income guidelines. The program runs from May 2- June 30, 2011, and may provide a grant of up to $200 per household. OpFuel utility grants are for households which fall within specified income guidelines, the household is faced with a financial crisis, and there is a demonstrated need.
Winter Heating Assistance- The Connecticut Energy Assistance Program is now closed for the 2010-2011 heating season. Applications for the 2011-2012 heating season will be accepted in Human Services beginning September 12, 2011; fuel deliveries will begin November 1, 2011.Please click here to learn more about these helpful programs and to determine if your household may be eligible
