Welcome to the

Crandall Park Watershed Management Plan Meeting
The Tolland Recreation Department with funding from the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the U.S. Environment Protection Agency Clean Water Act Section 319 Nonpoint Source Grant has been studying the Crandall Park watershed to determine the cause of periodic spikes in the level of bacteria found in the pond. The Town of Tolland hired the University of Connecticut Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering along with the Center for Environmental Sciences and Engineering to conduct a sampling study to identify potential nonpoint sources of pollutants and assist in the development of a Watershed Based Management Plan including possible best managment practices designed to help alleviate the problem. The initial results will be presented to the public at an outreach meeting to be held on Wednesday, August 27th at 7:00pm in the Tolland Recreation Center. All interested parties are welcome.

Great Advertising Opportunity!

The Town just opened a new synthetic turf field at Tolland High School. The field is used by the school sports teams, the local youth sports groups and is rented out to other teams and groups throughout the year. This is a great place to advertise your business where it can be seen by a lot of people on a daily basis. You can purchase a 3ft x 7ft sign for $500 per year or a 3ft by 4ft sign for $300 per year. You give us your logo and we create and install the signs.
