    Q. Is there a fee for a Police report and can it be faxed to me?

    A copy of a police report is $8.00 (search fee). Reports can not be faxed.

    Q. How many days does it take to receive a copy of a Police Report?

    The processing time is usually 4 weeks from the date received.

    Q. If I am involved in a car accident, do I need to file a report to the department of Motor Vehicles?

    No.

    Q. If I have been arrested for a criminal offense, can I obtain an arrest report?

    Only if a disposition has been issued by the court. (THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE DEFENDANT IN A DWI CASE)
