Snow Removal – Please be advised that the Town Ordinances #30 and #53 address the issue of snow removal from driveways, sidewalks and fire hydrants. Land owners must remove snow from any sidewalks fronting their property and from around fire hydrants within 24 hours of a storm or be subject to a $35 fine. Additionally, plowing or blowing snow into the street is strictly prohibited and a $50 fine is assessed for this activity.

Christmas Trees – The town will continue to receive your old Christmas Trees at the parking lot of Crandall II off of Cider Mill Road through the end of January. Take the turn for the Crandall Lodge and travel past the Parks & Facilities garage; the drop-off area will be on your left. The rubbish pick up will not take trees as part of the regular trash.

Surplus Material – From time to time we will list surplus equipment that is available to the public and the method for submitting a bid. Please stay tuned for these bargains. Questions may be directed to the Highway Department at 871-3690.
