Marriage licenses may be applied for in the Town Clerk’s Office. The State of Connecticut passed a law as of October 1, 2003 stating that premarital blood tests are no longer needed to obtain a marriage license.  Marriage licenses can only be issued in the town where the ceremony will be performed.  Proof of residency must be presented at the time of application.  The cost of the license is $30.00.  The marriage ceremony must be performed within 65 days from the date of the application.

The cost of a certified copy of a marriage license is $20.00.
