Tolland Public Library Friends

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library was established in 1981 to support the library by purchasing items not normally included in the library budget. Funds come from annual membership dues and from other fundraising events such as the annual holiday cookie sale, Festival of the Trees, and book sales. The Friends also raise money through the sale of promotional items. Throughout the year, the Friends sponsor events for both children and adults, most museum passes, WOWbrary, the book review newsletter “Book Page” and the on-line events calendar. Friends meet on the 1st Monday of the month at 11:00 AM in the Library Program Room. There are no meetings in July and August.  Please become a member today and help support your public library with your tax deductible donation.

The Friends collect books, CDs and DVDs for their ongoing book sale held in the library.  Please no magazines, encyclopedias, books on tape, videotapes, textbooks or Readers Digest condensed books.  Items may be dropped off at the library during business hours.

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library can now be found on Facebook.
