Tolland 300th Anniversary (continued)

Some highlights planned for 2015

• Tolland 300th Anniversary Parade, Sept. 19, 1 to 2:30 p.m., along the Green
• Tolland 300th Anniversary Townwide Picnic, Sept 19, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tolland Middle School. This celebration will incorporate the Celebrate Tolland festival and the Arts of Tolland annual Arts and Craft Show into a large, townwide event. We are encouraging residents to hold family reunions on this final weekend of the celebration so they and their relatives can take in the parade and the picnic.
• Now through Sept. 19, the Historical Society, the Tolland Public Library Foundation, the Arts of Tolland and other civic groups will hold many fascinating lectures, exhibits, hikes and other events.

We encourage residents and businesses in town to consider sponsoring an event or to join the Tolland 300 Club with a $300 donation, and we hope to see all of you at our exciting events in 2015.
