Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Commission is charged with creating, maintaining, updating and enforcing Tolland's Zoning Regulations. The zoning regulations specify the amount and type of development allowed in Tolland, provide rules for certain uses of property, and provide a process for obtaining approvals.  See below to download the Tolland Zoning Regulations.

Tolland's Zoning Enforcement Officer (ZEO) is appointed by the Planning and Zoning Commission and is responsible for enforcing the zoning regulations. Appeals of a decision by the ZEO can be made to the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Zoning Board of Appeals also is charged with deciding upon zoning variance applications.
