Fishing

Hunting and fishing licenses are available for purchase in the Town Clerk's office.  You can now purchase hunting permits, deer tags, pheasant tags and duck stamps from the Town Clerk’s office, as well.  You can also choose to purchase them online at the State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).

Over 65 Licenses

Inland Fishing and Marine Fishing Licenses are available to Connecticut residents who are over 65 years of age free of charge upon presentation of a Connecticut Driver’s License or Passport. Hunting Licenses for those over 65 are also available to those who can show proof of having had a prior hunting license within the last 5 years or a Certificate of Completion of a hunter’s safely course recognized by the State of Connecticut.  Over 65 licenses must be obtained in person only.

16 - 17 Year Olds

New for 2015: All license fees, along with fees for tags, permits, and stamps, are 50% off for resident 16 and 17-year-olds.
