    SURPLUS EQUIPMENT - DUE JANUARY 5, 2009

    The Town of Tolland has declared the following items to be surplus and is requesting proposals from interested parties for their purchase:

    These vehicles and equipment are being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” and may be visually inspected until January 5th at 4:00 pm by calling the Tolland Public Works Department at 860-871-3690. No warrantees or guarantees regarding condition are made.

    Any person interesting in making an offer on one or more of these vehicles/equipment should provide a written offer to the Town Manager’s Office, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084 in an envelope clearly marked “Surplus Vehicle -1/5/09” prior to January 5, 2009 at 4:00 pm. The offer should specify which vehicle/equipment and the offered price.

    The Town reserves the right to sell these pieces individually or collectively as the Town Manager judges to be in the Community’s best interest. Payments should be made in cash or certified bank check within 5 working days of the acceptance of the bid otherwise the offer will be considered withdrawn and the next bidder shall be offered the piece of equipment. The Town of Tolland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals.
