Bench Installation

Eight benches were installed in Tolland Conservation Areas and located at scenic vistas. These benches will serve as resting areas for all people to sit down and enjoy the conservation area. Eight sites on seven Conservation Areas were leveled and cleared of brush and debris. Lumber was cut and benches were pre-assembled. Benches were disassembled and then transported to the various sites, where they were re-assembled and secured to an adjacent tree. Benches can be found along the river at King(2), by the brook crossing at Campbell, on a knoll at Schindler-Schmidt, by the bog at Knofla, at a high point on Parciak, by the brook at Palmer, and at the top ridge of Weigold.
