Holiday Silent Auction at the Tolland Public Library
The Friends of Tolland Public Library are once again having their popular Holiday Silent Auction on beautifully decorated table top trees and other holiday decorations. Tolland residents, local businesses, and organizations demonstrate their creativity and imagination by making festive tabletop trees, wreaths, and holiday decorations that are displayed at the library and bid on in a silent auction. Items will be on display and open for bid on Thursday, November 4 until Friday, December 3rd. Final bidding will take place from 4 to 5 pm on December 3rd. Successful bidders can take home their trees. Winners that are not present will be notified by phone, and trees can be picked up during normal library hours. The Friends accept cash and checks for payment. Masks are required at the library.
All proceeds are used by the Friends of the Tolland Public Library to pay for museum passes, library programs, library news publications, and other library items that are not included in the library budget.
