Sam Ducharme set out on a 2180 mile, 14 state backpacking trip from Springer Mountain, Georgia to Mt. Katahdin, Maine. During his six month journey he documented the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, the wildlife, as well as the people and the culture. Come join him on Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 PM in the library's program room as he recounts his hardships and life changing experiences. The program is free and open to the public.
