Lions Club Free Pediatric Eye Screening

The Tolland Lions Club will be performing free pediatric eye screenings for children ages 1 through 6. The screening is fast and easy. A hand-held scanner is held 3 feet from the child and scans in 20 seconds. A complete printout will be given to the parent after the scan. Any unusual readings will be highlighted and the parent will be encouraged to see their own eye doctor for a follow-up evaluation. Please stop by the library on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 11:00am to 1:00pm or Thursday, Oct. 4 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm if you're interested. This service is being offered free of charge by the Tolland Lions Club, under the Lions Eye Health Program administerd by the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation.
