The Town of Tolland and the Tolland Public Library will be hosting a Community Conversation: “Expanding Your Racial Lens while Promoting Inclusion” on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 6 PM. The purpose of this virtual interactive discussion is to facilitate a community conversation by exploring how socialization impacts racial development in society. The discussion will include an introduction of key concepts related to the intersectionality of race with other social identities and impart specific knowledge and strategies necessary for promoting inclusion.
