Sealed Bids for the “TOLLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT REPLACEMENT OF STATION 340 will be received at the Office of the Town Manager, Town of Tolland, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, Connecticut 06084, until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Bids for furnishing of materials, equipment, and labor for the replacement of one 4,600 square foot Fire Stations, associated utilities, parking, and access located at 247 Gehring Road, Tolland, Connecticut will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the deadline at the same address. 

Bids transmitted by facsimile will not be accepted and all bids must be in a sealed envelope. The envelope containing one original and one copy of the bid shall be clearly labeled as “Sealed Bid – TOLLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT REPLACEMENT OF STATION 340” and marked with the name of the bidder on the front of the envelope. No bids will be accepted after the time set for the opening.   The Town of Tolland reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids when such action is in the best interest of the Town.

Office hours of the Tolland Hicks Memorial Municipal Center & Library (Town Hall), 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Thursday 8:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. and closed on Friday.   

PRE-BID MEETING: 
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Fire Station 340, 247 Gehring Road, Tolland, Connecticut. All interested bidders should attend this meeting to understand and clarify the scope of work and intent of the bid documents. Any bidder who is not in attendance at this meeting will not be considered a bona fide bidder and therefore their bid will not be accepted.
