Indian Classical Dance December 4

Sarada Nori is the founder and artistic director of Layavinyasa, a school that propagates Kuchipudi (a south Indian classical dance form) and Carnatic classical music will be holding a dance performance on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:30 PM in the program room of the Tolland Public Library.   She has been a part of prestigious festivals such as the International Festival of Arts and Ideas at Yale and has conducted workshops and demonstrations at YMCA Vernon, Manchester Community College, the Hartford Publlic Library and the Welles Turner Public Library in Glastonbury.  She holds a Masters degree in Arts, specializing in Kuchipudi and explores creative learning methods to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. Her school focuses on sharing these ancient forms with multicultural audiences.
