Safety Reminders

Tolland Public Safety would like to remind residents to be extra vigilant of any solicitations especially during this time of year. 

Here are a few reminders:

• Never let anyone into your home who you are not expecting. 
• Always check for photo identification before allowing workers you are expecting into your home.
• Never give out account numbers or other personal information over the phone if you did not initiate the call.
• Review your credit card activity often to check for fraudulent purchases. Report any unauthorized purchases to the card’s issuer immediately.

Following these few simple steps can help keep you safe.
