Referendum Reminder

REFERENDUM - CHANGE IN POLLING LOCATION - CLARIFICATION

The voting location has been changed from the Library Program Room to the Recreation Center due to concerns for COVID-19 and keeping everyone spaced safely apart.

The annual budget referendum will be held May 3, 2022 at the Tolland Recreation Center, 104 Old Post Road. 

Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Only registered Tolland voters may vote in this referendum.

Absentee ballots will be available in the Town Clerk’s office beginning April 14, 2022.

Absentee ballot applications are available now in the Town Clerk’s office and on the Town website:

Applications As Well As ballots may be deposited in the drop boxes.  Boxes will be emptied daily beginning Monday April 18, 2022.

*If voting via absentee ballot, please be mindful of the following:

           

If applying via mail, we suggest you get the application to the Town Clerk’s office by Monday, April 25, 2022 to allow enough processing time for USPS turn-around.

Absentee ballots can be returned in person to the Town Clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m. Monday May 2, 2022, or in the mail or drop boxes by 8 p.m. Tuesday May 3, 2022.
